Anamaina Srikar
I was a very dull student before coming to Indian American Academy. IAA taught me how to reach the top.
When my husband passed away from cancer, I could barely support my two young kids.
I moved to Aliabad and worked as a street vendor, selling different trinkets, but did not have the money to send my kids to a better school, so they enrolled in a government school.
Once I heard about IAA, I approached them to ask about admission for my daughter. She was able to start at IAA in the 2nd grade, and they gave her the academic support I always wanted for her.
She thrived academically, and the teachers worked hard to bring her to a level where she could succeed on the Navodaya entrance exam, and she did.
She is now studying at the Navodaya Vidyalaya School, which is free, and IAA is kind enough to also give admission to my son as well.
I am very grateful to the IAA staff for having brought a big change in my life as a single parent, and the lives of my kids forever.
