Anamaina Srikar
I was a very dull student before coming to Indian American Academy. IAA taught me how to reach the top.
I am from Shamirpet village, and I am a roadside fruit vendor with a small income. One day Vidya Madam came to my fruit stand to buy some fruits and asked about my family.
I told her that my wife and I have two children enrolled in a government school because I did not have the money to send them to a better private school. Vidya madam told me that she has a school, the Indian American Academy, that provides free education for poor and smart children.
After my daughter’s successful written test and interview, she joined IAA in 2nd grade, receiving a good education, nutritious food, a uniform, and stationary.
With the support of the IAA staff, she did very well in her academics, and she was admitted to Navodaya Vidyalaya after graduating from IAA. She is currently doing very well in her academics and sports as the state girls’ kabaddi team leader.
My son also received support from IAA and gained admission to Gurukul Vidyalaya, which is also a free residential school similar to Navodaya.
I am forever grateful to Sharadha Seva Samithi and IAA for providing free education to my son and daughter and easing our financial burdens.
